Oklahoma State emerges with 70-56 win at New Mexico; will play for WNIT title |

November 18, 2009 – Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team didn’t let up Wednesday night as it earned a spot in the title game of the Preseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
Oklahoma State turned away host New Mexico 70-56 in front of 6,828 fans at The Pit in Albuquerque. The Cowgirls were led by Andrea Riley’s 22 points, 18 of which came in the second half after the Cowgirls went into the locker room with a 1-point lead.
New Mexico was led by Amanda Best’s 15 points.
Oklahoma State moves on to play for the Preseason WNIT title against the winner of Thursday’s semifinal pitting West Virginia at No. 3-ranked Ohio State at 7 p.m. ET. The matchup and game site of Sunday’s Preseason WNIT championship will be announced following the West Virginia-Ohio State game.
