Syracuse went on to claim a 74-73 overtime victory in front of 4,013 fans, and avenge its overtime loss last year to Toledo. Coffey made 6 of 8 3-pointers in scoring 23 points, and added six assists. For Toledo, Andola Dortch scored 23 points. Syracuse (22-14) stopped a nine-game win streak for defending WNIT Champion Toledo (24-10) on its home court. The Orange will advance to play Sunday’s winner of the JMU-Virginia game in the semifinals. The semifinal game will be played Wednesday, March 28 at a location to be announced after Sunday’s game.
