| Consolation round games set for most teams |

November 18, 2008 – Details have been announced for most of the consolation round games in the Preseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
The eight teams that lost in Round 1 are re-grouped into two quadrants. Cleveland State, Ball State, Illinois State, and Robert Morris are all playing games Friday and Saturday at Ball State. See below for the schedule.
The other quadrant features Lafayette College, Liberty, UC Riverside, and Western Carolina all playing games Friday and Saturday at Western Carolina. In both quads, the winners within them will advance to play each other, and the losers within them will advance to play each other.
One of the Consolation Round 3 games has also been set. Tulane will travel to VCU to play at 7 p.m. ET Friday, Nov. 21.
The other Consolation Round 3 game will feature Indiana. The Hoosiers will await Wednesday night’s outcome between Middle Tennessee at Oklahoma to know their opponent. If Middle Tennessee loses that game, Middle Tennessee will host Indiana at 7 p.m. CT Saturday, Nov. 22. If Oklahoma loses that game, Oklahoma will host Indiana at 7 p.m. CT Friday, Nov. 21.
In the championship bracket, Wednesday’s games feature Middle Tennessee at Oklahoma in Round 2; and Xavier at North Carolina in the Semifinals.
