Tournament officials have laid out the schedule for the Consolation Round of games in the 2018 Preseason WNIT. These matchups are part of the three-game guarantee of the event.
Friday, Nov. 16
Yale vs. Niagara at Stephen F. Austin, 4 p.m. CT
Morgan State at Stephen F. Austin, 6:30 p.m. CT
Delaware vs. Montana State at Texas State, 4 p.m. CT
Nicholls State at Texas State, 6:30 p.m. CT
Saturday, Nov. 17
Yale/Niagara loser vs. Morgan State/Stephen F. Austin loser, 2 p.m. CT
Yale/Niagara winner vs. Morgan State/Stephen F. Austin winner, 4:30 p.m. CT
Delaware/Montana State vs. Nicholls State, 4 p.m. CT
Delaware/Montana State vs. Texas State, 6:30 p.m. CT (Texas State will play in the 6:30 p.m. game, whether they win or lose Friday)
In the championship bracket, eight teams are still in the mix for the Preseason WNIT title. The four quarterfinal games will be played Sunday, Nov. 11:
Hartford at Miami, 1 p.m. ET
Northern Iowa at Marquette, 2 p.m. ET
Northern Illinois at Iowa State, 3 p.m. ET
Auburn at New Mexico, 4 p.m. ET
The consolation round for the losers of Sunday's games will be played Nov. 16-17.
The championship game of the Preseason WNIT will be held at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 18 and televised on CBS Sports Network.
