TOLEDO, OH – Toledo is moving on in the Postseason WNIT after a 64-50 victory over Wright State. The Rockets improve to 18-14 on the season and will travel to face Michigan State on Monday, March 19 with tip off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
Jay Bravo-Harriott scored 18 points and Kaayla McIntrye finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds for Toledo. The Rockets led 34-22 at half and held the Raiders to just 26 percent shooting from the field.
Emily Vogelpoh paced Wright State with 13 points, six boards and two assists. Symone Simmons netted 10 points and had seven rebounds.
Toledo is appearing in the Postseason WNIT for the sixth time under 10th-year head coach Tricia Cullop and 11th time overall. UT has now won its first game in the WNIT in each of its last six appearances. The Rockets won the Postseason WNIT in 2011 and are now 21-9 all-time in the post-season tourney.
