MUNCIE, IN – In Purdue’s second tight contest of the 2018 Postseason WNIT, the Boilermakers, Karissa McLaughlin hit four free throws in the final 18 seconds to hold off Ball State and advance in the 2018 Postseason WNIT.
Purdue (20-13) will play at Indiana on March 22 in Round 3, with tipoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
The Boilermakers got 26 points and eight rebounds from Dominique Oden, while McLaughlin closed with 19 points. Ae’Rianna Harris came through with 13 rebounds as Purdue shot 53 percent from the field and worked past 22 turnovers.
Ball State (25-7) had 20 points and 13 rebounds from Moriah Monaco, and Destiny Washington added 12 points.
